Hello hello! Whether you already have a collection of essential oils or are just starting to use them, you need these 5 in your kit. These are my 5 favorite Doterra essential oils. They are the ones I take whenever I travel, and use so regularly I keep them stocked up. I use Doterra because they are CPTG (Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade) and truly offer the best oils I have ever tried. (Melaleuca has started their own line of pure essential oils and the few I have tried are very good as well)
Deep Blue blend – A blend of Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Helichrysum, Blue Tansy, Blue Chamomile, and Osmanthus.
Meant as a soothing massage oil it relives muscle aches and pains. My dad did not believe in it until he messed his back up so bad he couldn’t get out of bed. He finally gave in and has since become a believer in the magic of it. This truly is a life saver for my legs after a long day of walking or standing. Achilles tendonitis is no joke. I prefer not to turn to Advil every time I get an ache and this relieves my pains so fast I don’t even carry Advil in my bag anymore. Available in a roller ball, a cream rub, individual cream rub pack (perfect for travel), and of course a regular oil dropper. It has a minty/menthol scent when you use it, so make sure you do not rub your eyes before washing your hands!
On Guard blend – Combination of Wild Orange, Clove, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary essential oils.
A natural immune system support boost, this oil is a travel and winter necessity. Comes in cleaning products, cough drops, toothpaste, beadlets, laundry detergent, hand wash, soft gels, and oil dropper. I use the cough drops for when I feel a cold coming on, and on planes to give me a boost of protection. The pure oil is great as a hand sanitizer, my friend who works the check-in at a hospital uses it all day to keep from getting sick. I love the cinnamon clove scent so the laundry detergent is quite nice.
Great for relaxing and sleeping, lavender is also soothing to the skin. Add a few drops to coconut oil as a moisturizer, or after waxing. Drop a few drops on your pillow to help sleep or rub on your feet and neck to destress. I like it in my hot oil hair treatments. You can even use it as a perfume. Can be used in conjunction with other oils or by itself.
A perfect purifying oil useful in cleaning products, cleansing the skin and hair, and purifying the air its made from over 92 different compounds and truly has limitless applications. I use it on breakouts, cuts, and in all my cleaning products.
Outdoor bug protection that doesn’t smell horrible. I hate bug spray so this is perfect for the summer warm evenings when the bugs want to eat me. Just a couple drops on your legs, wrists, and chest and your protected and smell good. On our coming trip to Africa I will be using this…. DAILY.
